Conditions of Use

By law, customers in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. We conform to the Distance Selling Regulations which are designed to protect you when buying items via mail order.  We offer a flexible returns policy and are happy to accept items back if the items are damaged or faulty upon receipt. In the unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied with your order you must notify us within 7 working days of delivery detailing the reason for your dissatisfaction. In the event that an item is to be returned it must be unused and with the original packing and in the condition in which it was delivered to you unless faulty. Unless there is a manufacturing fault, or the goods were damaged in transit, goods will be returned at your own cost and refunds are made up to the cost of the goods excluding Postage and Packing. Monarch Models strongly recommends the use of Royal Mail Recorded Delivery (signed for) for goods returned, and cannot be held liable for any losses in the postal service.

FAULTY OR DAMAGED GOODS.

All items purchased from Monarch Models are covered by a full supplier’s/manufacturer’s warranty. This warranty covers manufacturing faults and defects. If you feel that any products purchased from Monarch Models has developed a fault then please contact us before returning the goods.  Our suppliers deal with these claims and in most cases the goods will need to be shipped to them, accompanied with a Completed Returns Form. Unfortunately postage costs cannot be covered unless there is a manufacturing fault.

NEW ITEMS RETURNED FOR EXCHANGE OR REFUND.

You can return your purchase to us in its original condition within 7 working days of the date you received the item, with any seals and shrink-wrap intact, and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item.

NEW ITEMS RETURNED BECAUSE WE HAVE SENT THE WRONG PART

On the rare occasion if we have dispatched an incorrect item to you must return the item sent within 7 working days of receipt. It must be in its original packaging and must not have been fitted or used. You will have to pay the post office to return the goods but we will then refund these costs to your card or send a cheque to the value. We will only refund the cost of 1st Class Royal Mail or Standard Parcels for larger items. You may send the goods back to us using a Priority or Guaranteed service but we will only refund the approximate cost of the standard service. Goods must be accompanied with a Completed Returns Form.

We are unable to exchange items that are not damaged, defective or incorrect
In the event of Monarch Models sending you a replacement for a damaged, defective or wrong item, you must return the item to Monarch Models within 7 working days. Monarch Models reserves the right to charge the price of the replacement item to the payment card used for the original order if you do not return the original item to us within 7 working days of the date on which Monarch Models confirms we will issue a replacement.
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service if the value of the return is more than 50 GBP.
